Penn State Great Valley’s campus sits in a urban location in Malvern, PA. It has a highly functional stormwater management basin that serves as a refuge for wildlife as well as a pollinator pathway that use sustainable choices for paving materials. Plans are underway to transition a large section of its campus parking lot to a more naturalized planted area, dramatically enhancing this asset for community use as an arboretum.
