A Growing Network

The Penn State Commonwealth Arboreta Network was founded in 2023 through an endowment from a private donor with the goal of connecting Penn State campuses through a collaborative of faculty and staff dedicated to the trees on our campuses and using these living laboratories to help improve tree and environmental knowledge.

Starting with seven foundational participants, the Arboreta Network is set to be an inclusive resource that brings together faculty, staff, and administration for teaching, research, and outreach opportunities across Pennsylvania.
